Cancel your flight

Whether or not you can cancel your booking depends on the ticket type you have selected (Economy BASIC, Economy CLASSIC, Economy FLEX or BUSINESS, Business EXPERIENCE). Before attempting to cancel your ticket, we kindly request that you first read the fare conditions carefully.

BUSINESS – the tickets are fully refundable. Cancellation is allowed anytime within the validity period* of the ticket.

Business EXPERIENCE - tickets are non-refundable. Only tax refund available. Requests for the refund of applicable taxes must be made within the validity period of the ticket.

Economy FLEX – if a booking is cancelled before flight departure, a refund fee of €25 per direction and per passenger applies if the passenger wishes to receive a refund in the form of payment. No fee is applied if the passenger wishes to receive a refund in the form of airBaltic gift card. In the case of a no-show ticket is non-refundable.

Economy BASIC and Economy CLASSIC– only taxes are refunded, unless Flight cancellation option has been added to the booking. The refund request must be made within the validity period of the ticket.

Flight date/time cancellation can be done by submitting a request through our online payment form.** You will receive your refund in a form of gift card that you will be able to use while booking your next flights on airBaltic.com or bank transfer.

Passengers in possession of roundtrip tickets who have flown or are planning to fly one way only and wish to receive a refund for the unused part of the ticket, please make sure that the ticket type supports cancellation with refund. In such cases the value of the used portion of the ticket will be recalculated to reflect the price of a one-way ticket, and the remaining difference will be refunded after subtracting any cancellation fees, if applicable to the particular ticket type.

* Ticket validity

  • Completely unused ticket: 1 year from the ticket issue date.
  • Partially used ticket: 1 year from the date of the first flight.
