Change your flight

Whether or not you can change your ticket depends on the ticket type you have selected (Economy BASIC, Economy CLASSIC, Economy FLEX or BUSINESS, Business EXPERIENCE). Before attempting to change or cancel your ticket, we kindly request that you first read the fare conditions carefully.

  • BUSINESS – flight date/time changes allowed anytime and free of charge. If the flight date change involves a booking class* upgrade (the same booking class is not available on the selected date) you will have to pay the fare difference as well.
  • Business EXPERIENCE –  the flight date/time change non-refundable fee is €50 per passenger per one-way journey. Flight date/time changes are allowed prior to the scheduled or desired departure time, whichever is earliest. If the flight date/time change involves a booking class* upgrade (the same booking class* is not available on the selected date) you will have to pay the fare difference as well.
  • Economy FLEX – flight date/time changes are available free of charge. Flight date/time changes are allowed prior to the scheduled or desired departure time, whichever is earliest. **Please contact our **Call centre if there are less than 72 hours left until scheduled departure of your flight and you wish to change your flight.

Rerouting permitted within the same origin-destination. Origin and destination change is not permitted.

All services purchased together with your ticket will be transferred to the new flight, except for travel insurance. To change the dates for this service or cancel it please follow the insurance policy terms and conditions.

Please note! If there are no tickets left in the original booking class*, the passenger must cover fuel surcharge tax and the costs of the upgrade to the next available booking class. The fare difference is calculated taking into account the prices available through our global reservations system, not the airBaltic website.

In regard to connecting flights, if the ticket change results in a stopover that exceeds 24 hours, a stopover fee and the airport tax difference must be covered in addition to the fare difference. If both flights are operated by airBaltic, the stopover fee is 50 € for Economy BASIC, Economy CLASSIC, Economy FLEX and 100 € for BUSINESS or Business EXPERIENCE.

Additional servicing charges may apply if you pay for the service at travel agencies and via airBaltic representatives.

The new flight date must be within ticket validity period and cannot exceed it. Ticket is valid for one year after it’s purchasing date.

Booking class: the price level of the fare, identified by a single letter (e.g. A). The booking class is displayed  in the travel confirmation e-mail, next to the ticket type (Economy FLEX, A).
